Last updated: 20 June 2026These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Sentinel Assure Solutions Pte Ltd (UEN: 202430125M), a licensed Singapore Customs TradeNet declaration agent. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Client" or "you" means the person or entity engaging our services
- "Services" means TradeNet permit application services, document preparation, customs advisory, and related services
- "Permit" means a Singapore Customs TradeNet permit or declaration
- "Application" means the permit application submitted through our website or other channels
- "Documents" means all supporting documents required for permit processing
2. Scope of Services
Sentinel Assure provides the following services as a licensed TradeNet declaration agent:
- Preparation and submission of TradeNet permit applications
- Document review and validation (AI-assisted first-layer checking)
- HS code classification assistance
- Application status tracking and updates
- Customs advisory and compliance guidance
- Invoice generation and payment processing
We act as an intermediary between you and Singapore Customs. The final approval or rejection of any permit application rests solely with Singapore Customs.
3. Client Obligations
By engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in all applications
- Submit all required documents in the specified format and within the required timeframe
- Ensure all goods and transactions comply with Singapore laws and regulations
- Notify us promptly of any changes to application details or shipment information
- Obtain all necessary licences, approvals, and certifications for controlled goods
- Be responsible for any duties, taxes, or penalties assessed by Singapore Customs
We are not liable for delays, rejections, or penalties arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
4. Fees and Payment
- Service fees are quoted and agreed upon before permit submission
- All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise
- Additional fees apply for dangerous goods (SGD 150) and urgent processing (SGD 100)
- Invoices are issued upon permit approval or service completion
- Payment terms are 7 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed
- Late payments may incur interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding amount
5. Permit Approval and Rejection
- We do not guarantee permit approval. All permits are subject to Singapore Customs' review and discretion
- We will use reasonable skill and care to prepare accurate applications based on the information you provide
- If a permit is rejected due to our error, we will re-submit the application at no additional charge
- If a permit is rejected due to incorrect information provided by you, a re-submission fee may apply
- We will notify you promptly of any permit rejections and advise on remedial actions
6. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We handle your data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and our Privacy Policy. We will:
- Keep all client information and documents confidential
- Only disclose data to Singapore Customs, regulatory authorities, and necessary service providers
- Implement reasonable security measures to protect your data
- Retain records for the period required by law (typically 7 years)
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific permit application in question
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or reputational harm
- We are not liable for delays, losses, or penalties caused by Singapore Customs, shipping carriers, or third parties
- We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and software, is the intellectual property of Sentinel Assure Solutions Pte Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the service engagement by providing written notice. Upon termination:
- You remain liable for all fees incurred up to the termination date
- We will return or destroy your documents in accordance with our data retention policy
- Any permits already submitted to Singapore Customs remain subject to their processes
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
11. Amendments
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
